Micaël Reynaud, a freelance designer and stop-motion animator creates animated GIFs that you’ve probably never seen before. He refers his GIFs to as “hypnotic very short films” that are created using many video techniques like time-lapse, slit-scanning, and various forms of masking.
His work is quite remarkable, the pigeon GIF above was a finalist in the first Saatchi Gallery Motion Photography competition, and the face shifting GIF had won the 2014 Giphoscope International Art GIF contest.
